The 10th Energy Congress, in which you are cordially invited to participate, will be held on September 25-26, 2024 in Wroclaw, Poland, this time under the theme \u201cEnergy of freedom a foundation for effective transformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

DISE Energy Congresses are international events that bring together renowned industry experts and energy market leaders, top managers, politicians, diplomats, experts and academics to speak.<\/p>\n

This year’s Jubilee edition of the Congress will particularly resonate with the key challenges facing not only the Polish, but the global energy market. The discussion will focus on issues related to securing national needs for diversification and decarbonization of energy sources, as well as rational management of resources – renewable, fossil, as well as critical raw materials.<\/p>\n

The discussion will address, among other issues: the role of RES in the national power and heating system, growing expectations for biomethane, hydrogen and other decarbonized fuels, and ESG-based strategies. Energy security will also play an important part in the discussion – in geopolitical and infrastructural dimension, but also in terms of financing and cyberspace. Together we will consider the future of Poland’s nuclear program, the future of fossil fuels, also in the context of industrial energy consumers. The Jubilee will also be a great opportunity to look at the changes in the Polish energy market that we have witnessed in the last decade.<\/p>\n

The Lower Silesian Institute for Energy Studies, based in Wroclaw, is one of the most recognized Polish think-tanks, addressing issues such as transition, energy security and changes in the energy market. We are convinced that high quality public discussion with the contribution of respected experts is the best way to implement valuable ideas.<\/p>\n
