This year’s 22nd Baltic Gas Summit GAZTERM was held under the motto “Integration of gas markets in the Baltic region”. DISE once again became a substantive partner of the event, under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.
DISE’s expert involvement has already given the conference the status of an international event and is one of the most important events in the gas industry in this part of Europe, which is attended by the most important decision-makers of the mining industry and diplomats from Poland and abroad. At this year’s conference, we hosted the representatives of government administration and gas business from Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Poland and the United States. On the initiative of DISE, Žygimantas Vaičiūnas – Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, and Ole Egberg Mikkelsen – Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Poland, appeared personally at the 22nd GAZTERM.
The main topic of this year’s edition of the conference was the integration of gas markets in the Baltic region, with a special event devoted – the Baltic Gas Summit.
DISE’s President of the Management Board Remigiusz Nowakowski had the honour of opening the inaugural meeting of the 22nd edition of GAZTERM, and also moderating the opening discussion panel on “Security, development and integration of Baltic gas markets”.
